QRFup (Quick Reaction Force) is a free App and service that provides immediate crisis support to Veterans, First Responders and their families. To learn more about the QRFup Organization, visit www.qrfup.org.

Registered users: Once users have registered with QRFup Organization an account will be created, enabling them to use the App.

Unregistered users: Users who have not registered with QRFup Organization will be unable to use this App. To check if you are registered, download the App and enter your phone number. If you are not registered, you will be asked to enter your name and email address, which will be sent to QRFup Organization.

Your Data: If you do not wish to provide these details, do not enter your information when requested. Users who no longer wish to use the service can delete the App and all data via the settings page within the App. You can also email AppAdmin@qrfup.org or info@mysosfamily.com.

Using the App: In times of crisis, press the SOS button to initiate a text, email, in App notification and phone call to the QRFup Response Team. Your call will be answered by a trained therapist who will provide confidential support. If you need a fellow Veteran (Responder) to come to your location, the Therapist will dispatch someone. The Therapist will relay your needs to the Responder and remain on the call with you until your Responder arrives.

Location Data: The App requires access to your precise location to dispatch a QRFup Response Team to your exact location for immediate support. We collect this data only if you provide permission for the App to access your location data when you activate features like the SOS button, the SOS Timer or the Share My location feature. Each time you open the App we gather your precise location to quickly add it to the SOS alerts, to enable the QRFup Response Team to provide you support. The App cannot guarantee the specific response or arrival time of responders, location data or location tracking will be accurate.

QRFup App Features

SOS Timer: Set a timer (15 minutes to 8 hours) to send alerts. Great if you are concerned about a crisis but may be unable to reach your phone. If you are unable to cancel the timer, alerts will be sent as if you pressed the SOS button.

Call 911 Shortcut: By sliding the 911 function on, when you press the SOS button you will be promoted to call 911. You can confirm, and the App will place a call to 911. Whilst calling 911 SOS alerts will be sent to the QRFup Response Team for them to provide extra support.

Voice Activated SOS: With voice recognition enabled, simply say "Yes please" when prompted by the App to send for help (helpful in stressful situations).

Quick Access Widget: Swipe right and press the SOS Widget as a faster way to send for help without searching for the QRFup App.

Alexa Integration: Link your Alexa device with our partners skill from within the App. This will allow you to send an SOS using your Alexa device.

The QRFup App was developed by the team behind the My SOS Family App. It may look similar but is fundamentally different as it is a free service and only connects to the QRFup Response Team, who provides specific support to Veterans and First Responders in a crisis who have registered with QRFup Organization.
