Terrible app

One of the worst apps ever. For example when trying to sign up, only a few countries are given as residence options. I parked three times using the app and never got a receipt once. The app and the parking zones were really hard to work out. I’m positive I’m going to get parking tickets and I have no way to prove I paid except for my credit card. Used this in Monopil Italy. The app is so bad I have to assume someone was bribed for the app to be selected by the town. As an example of a great easy to use app, try Easypark.

This company shouldn’t be allowed to operate. The machine didn’t work, the app didn’t work, and it charged me twice for trying to extend my park but didn’t update in the app. This company should close.

The Chaos App

PrestoPark is a Swiss Company. I don’t know how it works there, but in Italy it’s a disaster just to register your personal and payment info after downloading the app. I live near Monopoli in Puglia, Italy where the town had previously offered EasyPark and now offers PrestoPark. Monopoli is the only commune I know in Puglia that uses this app. If you’re visiting Monopoli where parking is tight and expensive, just pay the low-tech way and be done with it. If you have a car, beautiful Monopoli isn’t as attractive, peaceful and convenient as it once was in good part to newly arrived excess tourism and a crazy parking situation made worse with the introduction of PrestoPark.
