App has worked well for what I use it to read
No issues in the couple of years I've used it. I flip through the headlines daily.
Review Update: Never up to date.
Came to say it is VERY sporadically better - and that is being generous. Often can’t find info - including obituaries - for a couple of days after they’ve been public even though they have been google searchable and posted elsewhere that entire time. They need to hire people to do their updates more frequently. Ridiculous that a NEWS source doesn’t have up-to-date news. They probably won’t last much longer as an entity.
Original post one year ago:
“I strongly discourage getting this app. It is never up to date. Obituaries can be 3 days behind. Just not worth the frustration it causes. Today is Tuesday. The obituaries on the app are from Sunday.”
Difficult to navigate
Doesn’t always download the latest edition. 2 or 3 times a week, I have to manually try to hunt through the app just to get the newest edition of the paper. When reading articles, navigating them is difficult. Trying to zoom in causes the article to show in its own window or assumes I want to turn the page. Too difficult for a simple reader.
