PLAYMOBIL Ghostbusters 9+

i like the game but do you just stay at the same place i got an A on the game but it did not take me to new location i still have the game is the whole point of the game staying at the location that you start in when you first get the game 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

As a lifelong Ghostbusters fan, something in this line would have been FAR superior to what I had as a kid in the lines of a Ghostbusters game. But I’m a child of the 80s so if you played the garbage that was passed off for a ‘game’ associated with Ghostbusters you know what I speak of, at least for Nintendo’s offerings. I’ve since found there were decent games at the time but back then we didn’t have such a thing like the internet to help us find such things.

Ok to the game. It’s fun! Repetitive? Yes. But since I downloaded it a month ago I’ve enjoyed playing it. I do wish I didn’t have to watch the forever long intro every time I open the app but I do enjoy the gameplay. Maybe for the new movie coming out there might even be something added to this as a revisit? Regardless it’s a fun way to waste a little downtime.

If you’re just trying to kill a few minutes here and there, this game is an ok option.

Graphics in movies are literally Lego Ghostbusters adaptation of movie scenes, which I found humorous! The game itself is simplistic in terms of both graphics and gameplay. Move left and right, up and down stairs. Ghosts appear (levitating at near ground level) from left and right. Zap them with your photon beam depletes them of energy, at which point a trap is automatically thrown for the capture. Bring traps to a containment unit to empty them for reuse. If the ghosts make contact with you, it depletes your life. After enough captures, you get upgrades, with options like beam power ups or more traps.

Overall, reading this review is more fun than the game itself, but the game is a good distraction for a couple minutes, if that’s all you’re needing.
