magnolia mommy

As a notorious Fern Felon turned Blossom Benefactor, I can’t believe I’m writing this, but this app has transformed my botanical bloodbath into a garden of Eden! Once infamous for turning lush green cycad dreams into dried-up nightmares, I’ve finally found my green thumb thanks to this incredibly easy-to-use plant care and identification app. From the get-go, the app holds your hand (gently, like you should hold a delicate orchid) and guides you through the world of plant care. No more guessing whether your ficus is frowning or if your peace lily is pouting. The app’s plant identification feature is like having a horticultural detective in your pocket, solving plant mysteries faster than I used to wilt a succulent! The real magic, though, is in the care instructions. Detailed, yet simple enough for even the most notorious plant neglecter (yours truly) to follow, it’s like having a patient plant nanny coaching you step-by-step. Watering schedules, sunlight needs, and even tips on how to talk to your plants (yes, apparently they like it) are all laid out with the precision of a seasoned gardener. I’ve gone from a serial killer of succulents to a magnolia mommy, nurturing a verdant oasis right in my living room. So, if you’ve ever been a perpetrator of planticide, do yourself a favor and download this app. You might just become the green-thumbed guardian you never knew you could be.

@mrgorbachev ,

I’m genuinely impressed

I used to only dream of having an app like this to identify the foliage in my environment. I like plants and weeds a lot, (The weeds that grow in your garden) I love natural remedies which derives from most plant as a source so having this app to identify the plants I need to make sure they’re that plant comes in clutch 🫡. Also when my mother buys flowers for her home she usually doesn’t remember the names nor the care instructions. Taking a photo can be a bit annoying sometimes if you’re not angling your phone correctly but that’s not a huge disappointment to me. Plantsnap has definitely made my life much easier. Let’s not forget about the fact that we can network with like minded users via the Plantsnap app like a social networking platform. Having the privilege to see other beautiful flowers and plant species from around the world is a great touch. So get in on the action and start snapping today.

What I don’t enjoy about the app is that I have to pay to learn more about the specific plant/flower when I can use google lens to take a pic and give me similar & close results at no cost.

MarshGoddess ,

Wow!! New hobby! LOL

Ok I was skeptical but I am a real person and this app really works. LOL Like most people, I buy plants then forget what I bought. I have used it to identify 5 personal plants and one camera roll pic that I took while traveling out of state. I was able to say with confidence that the app gave me an accurate result on each. The fern was a little tricky but that’s a tough one. My fiancé also tried, failed and gave up. Haha I tried to inform him (without gloating) that he simply didn’t give it a chance. Here are my tips:
1.) Feel free to lift branches/reposition flowers to put the plant in an ideal position. That way you are sure to get flowers and leaves in the same shot.
2.) Do not expect the result preview to be the same color/size as your exact plant. (My fiancé’s mistake. Hehe) Keep in mind that plants come in several varieties. A quick google search can help you narrow results and find your exact variation for confirmation.
3.) SAVE!! Once you find your winner, don’t forget to save the result. I plan to use mine to make plant name tags so my visitors can enjoy knowing more about the beauty they are seeing.
Happy Trails!
