If yes, this app is for you. "Plane Above Me" answers that exact question.

You can scan the sky manually by pressing its Scan button or let the app auto-detect flights. Once it detects the sound of aircrafts, it will retrieve live flight data for you. Behind the scenes, it uses AI sound classification models to achieve that.

Privacy friendly:

1) Location data is used for scanning for flights nearby only. It is never stored and sent anywhere.
2) If activated, audio data is analyzed on device for aircraft sound identification only. It is never stored and sent anywhere.

Question

Sometimes I hear AC but am told there are none in the area me what ? Sometimes the app. Vocally tells me what the Ac is but most often it just prints it out. why

Perfect for backyard curiosity

I spend some time on my back deck and many planes fly over, mostly small but some, large commercial too. I have a friend who pays for an app that I was impressed by but thought for what I wanted it for I would not pay for what he’s getting. I found this app and am enjoying it.
