What’s New

Version 0.98

Maps:
• Higher detail in all GPX tracks. Much better for navigation.
• New design of Map filters to make them bigger and easier to use.
• After search for a peak, map zooms in more to get a better sense of the area around the peak.
• Fixed bug to show peaks you’ve climbed (the green peaks) in all cases.

Latest climbs (people icon tab):
* Loads 10x the logs in 1/20th the time.
* Removed boring logs with no trip report, photos, or track.
* Combined multiple logs from same trip. Tap the ‘+ n peaks’ in header to see names of the additional peaks.

Saved tracks:
• Added a sort to the Saved tracks. Sort by recently added (the new default), recently climbed, and name.

Almost as good as AllTrails??!!!

Yes, this app is awesome it needs way more recognition and use around the hiking scene because this app is an amazing way to find your next hike, archive your peaks and everything in between. What could be better would be more accurate gps, but really I have no true complaints

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the review. We just pushed more detailed GPS tracks to make it better for navigating.

Great app but slow sometimes

I like Peakery! I love peakbagging and this is one of those apps where you can log your climbs, even add pictures and description to your adventure. You can load your GpX file and peakery automatically recognizes your peaks you climbed, whoch is a cool feature. The app can be slow sometimes, that’s one thing I don’t like about it. There are some features you can only see on the desktop version, so definitely could improve but not bad.

Developer Response ,

We’ve been working on improving speed over the last year. One major improvement has been moving all peaks offline so there’s no waiting for loading while on map.

My favorite app

I use the peakery app every time I climb a mountain. I have used the peakery website for several years to plan and log my ascents. Both the peakery app and the peakery website work well together. I enjoyed helping beta test the app a few years ago.
