This app incorporates the most popular features of Coinflation.com and features the live 24-hour gold and silver price (updated every minute). The four calculators bundled into one app include U.S. silver coins, base metal coins, gold scrap, and silver scrap.
Unique features include:
- Automatic gold and silver price updates every minute, no need to "re-enter" the price from an external source. - Gold Scrap calculator modeled after the most popular gold calculator on the web, GoldCalc.com. Units include grams, milligrams, pennyweight, grains, and troy ounces.
- The new Silver Scrap calculator has three silver types, .999, .925 Sterling, and .900 silver. This allows the user to weigh a bag of circulated silver coins and determine the actual melt value. In addition, we've included non-traditional weights such as troy pounds, avoirdupois ounces, and avoirdupois pounds to help with eBay listings that may try to intentionally confuse buyers.

Scrap silver calculator
Make it so you can pick the percent of purity. Because I have coins that are for example 53% or 83.5% so it can calculate that. But at her than that it is great.
New update is great
Have been using this app for a while, been really wanting where you can put in the amount of each coin you have so you can get an all around total instead of putting in how many quarters you have then writing it down. Then adding it to how many dimes you have.
Great App, use it all the time!
Found this app as a coin collector. Obviously it’s not for evaluating the value of most that I buy and sell, but many of us can’t resist at least a bit of “silver stacking”. Coinflation provides a quick way of calculating a fair trading price for US coinage of all types. Would be nice to add a line for Gold coins, too. 👍
