Description
Learn how to solve problems in physics perfectly every time as an expert. Each problem is solved by a series of identical steps, with six variations for the different topics in introductory mechanics at the high school, AP, collage and university level. By learning how to solve the problems systematically you will be able to solve any physics problem on a test or quiz because you'll know the method and strategies experts use. After solving only a few problems you will see the method and be able to apply it to your homework, quizzes and tests. More practice will make you the student who finishes the test early and knows they got an A!
PathPlan contains easy to use widgets for common tasks such as drawing a freebody diagram and energy bar diagrams as well as handwriting recognition for entering your equations. The use of tactile entry increases your retention for when you work on paper. Each approach starts with a video that solves a problem while explaining both what PathPlan expects you to give it and why the step is necessary and meaningful. This will teach you how to solve problems like an expert.
The app is free and you purchase only the content you want. Anyone may purchase the mini courses in order to become an expert problem solver in a learn a specific topic. If your instructor gave you a course number, use that code to find and purchase your instructor's course.

Ratings and Reviews
Means Well but Not Ready to be Used
I understand the point of this app and believe if it was executed correctly it could be a very valuable way to teach students. However it simply is not ready to be used for a college course, let alone have an entire curriculum designed around it, which is how it was for my class. In its current state it would be best to offer this app as supplemental learning for students and have the actual homework and test grades come from somewhere else. About 90% of the grade in my course (probably a little more) came from doing problems in the app, whether that be homework or tests, which is unacceptable for an app that is barely functional. I would assume that the head of the Physics department at a university would have to approve to have the entire curriculum of a course designed around an app and I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could give this app the green light for that purpose if they have actually used it and tested it how the students would use it.
Not ready for classroom use
App constantly crashes and is unable to reliably give any sort of meaningful feedback. If you swipe the wrong direction accidentally while doing a problem it will close that problem and once you go back the evaluate buttons will no longer work so you have to delete and reinstall the app and reset all the progress from that problem in order to fix it. I really don’t understand how a large university can think that an app like this is appropriate for teaching a class and basing their grade solely on it. You would think a physics teacher with a doctorate would be able to come up with a better way to teach students then with this app. I realize right now it is hard to teach fully online but this app is not the solution, at least not yet.
Needs Work
This app should not be used for any work that will be taken as a grade, it is extremely faulty and extremely frustrating. It has a lot of bugs and errors within it that need to be fixed before it can reach its potential. I dread doing any work on this app because of the numerous complications it has and in return it is extremely time consuming. Stick to a different method of learning.
