Description

Parkade reinvents how parking can work at private buildings, enabling parking to be managed through an app.

Instead of property managers managing parking via spreadsheets or paper leases, Parkade digitizes a building’s parking operations and makes parking self-serve for tenants. Depending on what features your building choose to leverage Parkade for, tenants can use Parkade to:

- Book short-term parking
- Book or manage long-term parking
- Open your building’s parking gate(s)
- Report issues with your parking spot(s)
- Add or edit your vehicle records
- Book EV charging spots
- Book parking for a guest, giving them gate access and wayfinding tools
- Rent out or share your long-term parking spot with others
- Sublease a spot from someone else

Parkade brings your building’s parking into the 21st Century, making parking a snap for everyone! Note that it’s up to each building who gets Parkade access, as many buildings choose to limit access to tenants. At other buildings, Parkade can be used by the public to rent excess parking.

Not sure if your building is right for Parkade, or are you a property manager/HR team member looking to set your building up with Parkade? Drop us a note at hello@parkade.com, and we'd be happy to chat!

Ev parking solved

I own a Tesla, but I don’t have a charger in my parking space at my condo. However, a bunch of the other residents in the building do you have chargers. We tried to share their parking spaces via text message an email for a while, so that I could charge my car in the building, but it just never worked. It was a huge hassle.

Then we started using Parkade, and now it’s become super easy for those of us who own electric vehicles but don’t have a charger in our spot, to actually find a place to charge for a few hours or overnight. Love this app!

Shady

One of the biggest cons about living in my current building is that they contracted with this stupid app for resident and guest parking. I always follow procedures to book for my guests and honor the parking times and recently, my guest overstayed by accident (they ONLY email your parking expiration reminder, text not available - SHADY). We had to rebook twice due to other people not following reserving procedures/overstaying and they charged us $15 late fee when the car was moved and rebooked in another spot within 10 minutes of the second email that was sent.

I kindly asked for grace given that Im a resident and had to rebook this guest twice in a garage with horrible service and you have to basically snitch (take a photo of the car in the spot you booked and enter their license plate). They wouldnt budge and told me that $15 is a reduced late fee for residents because it’s usually $30. It’s ridiculous! I hope my building doesnt renew their deal with them.

Developer Response ,

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We work closely with building management to administer enforcement for our partner buildings. While that does sometimes mean issuing penalty fees, we try to be understanding in our approach. If you don't mind following up with our team on the original thread we contacted you, we'd be happy to take another look.

This is the absolute worst

My building outsourced their parking to parkade. I have never been more stressed out about parking. First they raised the rates by almost double at the end of our leases. Second they put me through 3 days of calling chargepoint for HOURS when they said it was a connection issue on my end when in reality it was because of parkade mislabeling and mis-assigning chargers. Their alternative during that time I couldn't charge was to have me PAY to RENT another parking spot. They never once offered me compensation after wasting 3 days until they found out what was the issue, and then had ME explain it to them. Do I work for Parkade and didn't know?

Now they have other cars using my charger so I can't charge. They wrote to tell me it was because cars can share chargers. Well why couldn't I share a charger at the time when I couldn't access any other chargers in the lot at all?
