Why does it take hours to find parking? According to our research, there is 1 parking spot available for every 3 cars in New York City. Due to outdoor dining, city bike stations, and loading zones, the Department of Transportation eliminated 7,000 parking spots.
 
How do we fix this?
 
We match users based on their parking schedules to provide parking at their destination. Our first parking buddy match was a hospital worker who needed parking in the morning. She received a local resident’s parking spot and returned the same spot to them after her shift ended in the afternoon. Both users were grateful to save money, time, and have a parking buddy to increase the chances of finding free street parking.

Park Watch automates this process for you. Simply download our app, start creating your user profile, and select your weekly schedule for parking needs. We will match you with parking buddies, whose parking schedule aligns with your parking needs. It is a one-stop application to navigate to your destination and find convenient, free on-street parking.

Don’t have a consistent schedule? No worries, you can also use our app to navigate to your destination and see parking buddy suggestions as a pop-up banner notification message once you are close to your destination. Remember to enable notifications for the Park Watch app. Sharing is caring, so always remember to share your spot to increase your rank in our app and get prioritized parking.

Park Watch also lets users rent driveways to earn money, directly message your parking buddy, and allows users to earn points to gain priority parking. Join our community and help spread the love by sharing your parking spots.
