Roaming Dutchman ,

Would want to like this....

The idea in itself could be really useful to quickly select the various maps and even better as layers. It just does not work well at all. It does not update/refresh always nor correctlt and other than just view these and export in a limited set of formats that is it.

Having an app that would allow you to load these various map layers and then annotate (add text or lines etc.) would be great. This is not that. (and indeed the develoepr does not claim it to be, but even as a viewer it misses the mark completely).

Kind of pointless

You can’t select an area to export, so you’re limited to what fits on your screen. The exported file types don’t include a vector format like ai, eps or svg… so forget being able to edit the maps or do anything remotely interesting with them. This is essentially Google Maps with a few different visual styles. Total waste of money until it has features on par with even a low end GIS app like Maperitive.

Developer Response ,

We think it has no sense saying this application has not GIS features. This is not a GIS application and it never promised to be.
The application does well what it promises.
Saying it's just maps with different style means who wrote the review just wanted to write a negative review without using the application. The different maps have additional informations, not just 'styles'
The application has a lot of happy customers both for the macOS and the iOS release (never writing reviews) and only one complaining.
Thank you
