Excellent App and Dev!

I got frustrated with an internet based cut list app while working on a project with limited WiFi in the area and needing to test multiple layouts. The incident made me realize I was at the mercy of available WiFi and server speed. I rolled the dice on this app and I couldn’t be more happy. It works with no internet connection, has unlimited projects and exports an awesome cutlist to pdf. Best of all, it allows you to assign parts to different materials while keeping parts grouped with the item you are making. It even does sheet goods and lumber within the same project! Perfect for cabinetry. This is a game changer for me and the best money I have spent in awhile on an app. Also the Dev is the most attentive I have ever encountered. I emailed him about a potential bug and with some app ideas and he emailed me back advising the bug was fixed and with responses to my ideas in 2 hours! I am beyond impressed. This is a great app and I am recommending it to all my woodworking friends using iPad to plan and document projects. Since I’ve downloaded it, it has only gotten better!!!!

Love it

I am so happy with this app, I’m sure it saved me at least a day or 2 of laying out my cuts on paper and reduced my waste and errors. With the price of materials this will pay for itself many times over. After getting the feel for the software and how to organize my project, it took me less than 30 minutes to get the data entered for my kitchen cabinet project. Because they offer a generous trial period I could have finished my project without paying for it but I would have felt guilty and cheap. It is obvious that much time and effort went into building this software and I am very impressed with it.

Great app, could use just a couple more things

Does a good job of giving you an orderly means to make the most of your lumber & other materials. Would be even better if I could make a digital checklist so that once I have my parts list and start cutting, I could tap and check off the pieces I’ve already cut so I have a running tab of what’s been finished and what’s left to cut. That, or at least maybe the option in the existing cut list at the top if I could tap the section I’ve finished and have it turn red to indicate it’s done so I have an immediate visual reference of where I’m at in the cut list progress. Other than that it’s a solid, highly recommend app for organizing efficient woodworking projects.
