Ratings and Reviews
Good images, lacking some
Has great explanations and labeled images. It’s lacking optic nerve info (no ONH drusen, papilledema, glaucoma, disc neo).
Also the app didn’t work initially and I had to uninstall and reinstall the it to get the images to appear.
No Support & Unfair Device Limitations
I just downloaded Octavia on my iPhone, but right afterwards, I realized it would be better on my iPad Pro, taking advantage of the larger screen and better graphics. The app doesn’t appear to allow you to use it on multiple devices, stingy on the part of the developer. So, I uninstalled it from my phone, and tried to download it onto my iPad Pro. That didn’t work. They still wanted another $4.99.
I contacted Octavia support three times in the last month, no answer. What gives?
I plan to cancel the yearly renewal. Nice idea, but poor support, and unfair that they don’t warn you that they won’t let you use it on more than one device, unless you buy another subscription.
Fantastic resource
It’s great having examples of so many pathologies available for review at any time. Thanks for putting this together!
