Can’t turn on/off from the app or auto off feature?

Getting better but missing 1 key feature. I love my mini but I hate that you physically have to turn it on and off instead of using the app. It also needs the ability to turn itself off after completing a playlist so it doesn’t just sit there with the lights on. Finally (and this is just more of a wishlist item than a crucial fix that needs to happen) I would love it if you could select more than one color at a time for the light effects. (Ex. With Christmas getting closer I would like to be able to set the colors to red and green). I love this enough to preorder the side table but if there’s no app on/off and auto off feature but the time it releases I don’t think I’ll be ordering it. After all, a small oasis in my living room that’s constantly on is one thing, but a much bigger one right next to my bed that I constantly have to manually turn on and off when I’m trying to use it to fall asleep? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of buying it in the first place.

Great product, so-so app

If you’re in the fence about buying an oasis, I’ll tell you it is worth it and the machine itself is not buggy or poor quality. It’s awesome and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The patterns it creates are as vivid as advertised, and the options for light, speed of ball, and various designs are all great. Get yourself one. The app is clunky. I can tell that some of the complaints here are coming from people who didn’t sit through the tutorial, so DON’T skip it. The issues arise with making playlists and saving designs in order, etc. It is difficult to manage and sometimes organizing a playlist on the app can be frustrating. But once the ball is rolling (pun intended) things work great. I’m sure with further updates the app will improve and I can happily change my review. For now, don’t let the underwhelming app deter you from buying the product itself! It’s quality!

So excited to finally get it but…

I paid a lot of money on Kickstarter because I loved the idea of a small zen table, and waited over a year to finally receive my Oasis Mini. While it is a beautiful product, I’ve gotten it to connect and work successfully a total of three times since getting it a month ago. When it works correctly, it’s great, but once it loses connection, there’s no getting it back. Here are my biggest issues: 1. There is no on/off switch, so it randomly turns on while sitting dormant on my desk. 2. It gets VERY warm while using, so I unplug it while I’m gone because I’m afraid the lights will turn on while I’m not around and get overheated. 3. No matter how many times I’ve tried the reconnection process and trouble shooting, it still won’t connect. 4. It hums oddly when running. I was hoping it might be a more relaxing sound with the ball rolling, but all I can hear (and feel on my desk) is the vibration of the motor. Basically I paid good money for a giant paper weight. Hopefully they fix the connection issues soon, because I’m extremely frustrated with the product and money wasted.
