Northwest Community eBanking 4+

I like this app. It’s very easy to use, you can do a lot with it, like deposit checks with a photo, check balances, quick transfer money from one account to another and have it happen immediately, pretty much all the things it says it does. My only complaint is that you have to have a separate online account to do anything with the credit card except check the balance, you can’t transfer $$$ from it, you can’t even make a payment.

One of my biggest frustrations with this app is every time there is a required update to the app. It does not hold my password. I have both face recognition and touch ID on my devices. The reason I have those features is because I don’t remember what my password is and it is a pain to try and reset your password because they want you to remember what your current password is. I have other financial apps on both devices, and they maintain my current function of logging in. This may seem like a petty complaint, but when you don’t have a hand written account of your passwords, it’s extremely inconvenient to try and reset your password simply because you updated the app.
There have been other changes since the merger. We have been a member for 40 years. The only reason I am still banking here is because of an existing loan that will be paid off soon. Then all of my accounts will be transferred to another local community credit Union. That has top-notch customer service.

I love having the ability to transfer money or check my eStatement while on the go! My spouse and I use this app all the time to see pending deposits, and to check our balance. Just tonight we noticed two fraudulent transactions on our account! We were able to transfer all of our money from our checking account to our savings account as our debit cards don’t have access to that account. Because it was outside of normal business hours we were unable to reach a resolution with the fraud department. However, it is good to know that the thief won’t be able to have access to anymore of our money. Thank you Northwest Banking App!!! Mobile banking is awesome!!!
