Ratings and Reviews
Solid game.
First off I would just ignore people that give the bad reviews or say it’s bland or boring, the game just came out so I don’t understand why they are expected a Gordon Ramsey tier of a game, for it being brand new it’s a good game, it’s just a great game to waste some time. Is it pay to win!?, ofcourse it is, what 2k,nfl and catdaddy game isn’t. Thats your decision if you want to go broke or not. Gameplay is nice, I’m roughly 3 days in and I’m 40k on my deck and level 17 with $0 spent, First “event card is like the wwe supercard game mode with obstacles, if you want it your looking for about $100 spent. Doesn’t take long to reach the top, yes it’s a grind but well worth it. Great game developer’s and already added double draft picks due to nfl drafts. 100% would recommend trying the game out.
Potential…. But not quite there
This had the potential, or perhaps still has, to be a fun game. It desperately needs to be tuned. It kind of makes you want to delete the game when you pick the correct plays, offense has a 10% chance, for 3 plays in a row, and they march down for a touchdown. What’s the point if that is the case. Another part is the season play…. You have 8 plays to score (for example), you get to 7 and there is no option for a field goal if you are close. Or situations where you need multiple runs and all that comes up is pass plays… or my favorite… you need 10 yards on 4th and your 3 choices are under 10 yards. Makes no sense. The same when on defense, the opponent needs a first down, but picks a play that can’t possibly get them there. Disappointed is an understatement. The card collecting aspect is somewhat okay, it would be nice if you could level up your plays somehow when they are at max level. Picking cards after a game, am I the only one that always makes it to the last card as an option… seriously. As far as the seasons go…tell me how you get an objective of scoring a touchdown in 6 or less play, do so in 6 plays, and fail. Not quite sure I follow that. Hopefully this game receives updates and progresses forward.
Hard to Explain fully
This game could have potential. It is very RNG like but also not. Player OVR is a slight factor. Tiers of players don’t seem to matter you can have a 3000 OVR blue rarity player vs a 1000 OVR gold and only obtain 10% boost to plays. Plays have a percentage of mostly nothing happens or negative impact. I have found unless play percentage reaches 80+ don’t count you’ll be successful. Events are kinda lame a lot of just matching with different animations. These events have more animations than the actual on field plays. You consistently do the same thing every time you play, it’s just offensive and defensive play selections with measuring percentages of success. It seems you either stack one side of the ball and don’t get to choose what side you want to play/control. So when you get your weak side of the ball it’s an automatic loss. I don’t even see how money can be a contributing factor. That could be a positive but overall I’d just say not worth the time or effort considering how much time you play for minimal gains and not enough enjoyment of the game. Sorry but this game is now as high as Apple says it is.
