With NextPass, only pay for tolls you pass, when you pass them. Just download the app, create your account, add your license plate, and you’ll be ready to drive on tolls in 18 states!
How it Works:
1. Download the app, then add your email, license plate, and a valid payment method.
2. Remove your vehicle from any previous tolling account(s).
3. Pay as you go with tolls in free-flowing fast lanes (tolls with gated arms are not supported).
NextPass is available in these states: Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Super convenient app!
This app has been a huge lifesaver recently when driving in Virginia - I recently bought a second car and didn’t want to deal with a transponder; only an hour before I realized I’d be on a toll road I was able to register my car in about a minute. My tolls were paid automatically and posted the next day - no confusion on how much I paid, no annoying bills in the mail. Love it.

So so much better than Txtag
I used to have a Txtag account. I deleted it and switched the NextPass because they were a nightmare to deal with. NextPass has great customer support and it’s easy for me to see how much I’m spending on tolls. With Txtag was very difficult to get that information.
Excellent app to pay your tolls!
Nextpass just made my life way easier!
I can now remove my transponder and forget about my account balance, tag replacements or other oldfashion payment methods such as “pay by mail”.
The app is very user-friendly, you just add your credit card details and it detects when you drive through a toll road to charge the exact toll rate. All my toll trips were accurately display on the “recent activity tab” and they are easy to track.
I recommend this app to everyone interested in a hassle-free tolling experience.
