Neat Countdowns 4+

Simple slick app with no advertising

Very easy to use and customizable app with no ads and it’s free (just how my apps I build are). The widgets took a bit to find as they’re under “Countdown” rather than the name of the app. Please add the ability to tip you, though!

Small nitpick: I wish the alignment on the numbers was a bit different, maybe centered rather than trailing? It just looks a bit off to me.

It used to be better

I used to be a big fan of this app and I used it regularly. I liked the simplicity of it, the custom backgrounds and of course the privacy features (no data collected). I even preferred the old app icon.

The new version is okay. I don’t need to share event countdowns and I miss the customization features that existed before the update . You have fewer options for that now.

The screenshots of the app are no longer accurate. The ability to have image backgrounds is sadly no longer supported.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with the update :(

Unfortunately countdown images were not widely used, and even I myself struggled to find meaningful (non-stock) images for my countdowns, so I chose icon patterns as a simpler customisation method.

Adding images that show up only on widgets is something that is on my roadmap, but work on this project is slow since it's a side project that is completely free, with no ads, no subscriptions, nothing.

I hope you give this new version the chance to change your mind and your rating!

Perfect simple countdown app

I couldn’t ask for more in a countdown app. I wanted to be able to add a picture and not pay a large fee and then I found this free one.
