The complete Nave's Topical Bible is contained entirely on your iPhone/iPod Touch along with all reference scripture texts (KJV & World English Bible translation), no wireless connection needed. The World English Bible is a public domain Modern English update of the American Standard Version of 1901 and can be found here: http://ebible.org/web/
Designed to be fast and easy to use, the controls are very simple; search or scroll the topic list, pick a topic, then click on the verse references to see the scripture for each sub-topic. You can even click on a scripture verse to view the entire chapter so that you can better understand the full-context of the verse. You can also move forward and backwards through chapters and you can change the font size to best suit your taste. Changing bible versions is as easy as touching the appropriate button.
Nave's Topics were originally produced by Army Chaplain Orville J.Nave, A.M., D.D., LL.D. Published in the early 1900's, this body of work represents, as he referred to, "the result of fourteen years of delightful and untiring study of the Word of God."

Great iPad bubble resource
We have this resource in print but it is especially handy to have on our iPads. Very useful when you wish to study or research a topic or person and wonder what the Bible says about it. Keep in mind that this app resource links you to scriptures based on topic as opposed to a concordance, which is also useful to have in print or is app. The only reason I would ever give this less than 5 stars is that there are some surprising gaps in topics. The resource would be even more valuable if additional words or topics were occasionally added.
Prayer tool.
Thank you Naves!!! Thank you Naves!!! An awesome app. I use it as a prayer tool for instance take the scriptures about thankfulness, reading them as Gods word to Me and then praying them back to God. Great! Also it brings out different words on thankfulness but likenesses of the words you’ve chosen, not necessarily the exact words. Thank you for Naves!!!

Gave it four stars. The only way I think it would be great is if I could right and left swipe to go through the scriptures of a chosen topic instead of always having to go back the topic/scripture page to get to the next scripture. I use it often and enjoy it, but that small change would be a great enhancement.
