myTouchSmart Remote Control 4+

I purchased this remote from Ollie’s for $5. However, I didn’t open it for about 3 weeks. I was skeptical, because the remotes that I purchased in the past, took a while to set up. After I downloaded the app, was up & running in a few minutes. It literally walked me thru the setup. As a matter of fact, I set it up while I was watching the game. What made me purchase the app is the lighting/backlit feature. It also controls up to 8 devices. I am going to buy (at least) 4 more remotes for the other TVs. It looks like you can also set up cable or streaming devices, as well.

I spent like 10 minutes trying to manually set up the remote without the app. I downloaded the app to my iPad and within a few minutes I am ready to go. It has amazing features for the price. Recently bought 2 remotes from Ollie’s for $4. I may have to buy more for birthday and just because gifts. I am amazed at the ease of set up and cost to buy. Best bargain ever.

I rarely write reviews. Lost a remote during a move and went to Target to get a Philips universal backlit remote. I was DREADING the setup of entering in 10-15 codes and hoping it worked. The setup took under 2 minutes start to finish and was SUPER EASY! Again I am blown away at how easy and effective the app with the remote was. Couldn’t be happier.
