Description

myRWC is a great way to connect with your Redwood City government to report problems in the community and access many different City services. If you see something that needs attention – such as graffiti, abandoned vehicles or potholes – you can submit a service request and even attach a photo. myRWC routes the issue to the right City staff person; you will be notified through your phone when the work is complete. You can also monitor requests and provide comments, pay your water bill, register for a class and check out the latest community news and events. Local government functions at its best when everyone participates. Download the app to get started today!

Password reset doesn’t work right

I tried to reset my password. The link in the email sent me to reset it in the San Carlos app, not the Redwood City app. The problem I am trying to report is in the Redwood City app. (I used a different method to log in and was able to do that.)

Spotty before, useless now

The developers of this app really sold Redwood City a bill of goods. When this service was first launched, its usability varied from crashy to okay. But now, because the developers have not implemented the ability for the folks in RwC who receive reports to moderate content, its usability has been degraded to the point of uselessness. As a result, every report submitted is hijacked by at least one determined resident who spams completely unrelated reports with 30x of their identical and lengthy all-caps post about their pet project. Unless and until the city is given the ability to MANAGE content, the app is useless and I’ll call in reports so they can actually be serviced.

Could have been useful, but it is not

The city of Redwood City has completely given up on this app. There is one deranged person who spams it constantly. This makes the app useless.

On the city end, the folks assigned to moderate this are useless and absent. Why on earth did we pay for this to be built if no one on city staff will put in the work to keep it useful?
