Needs a lot of work
Seems many IT teams shoot first and aim second. The UI is not great, cannot bulk import contacts even though it can access iPhone contact list. Have to flag a mobile number for your client as the one you want to text with even after you have changed the default import from”Other” to “Mobile”. Cannot add company name to a contact - even after importing a contact from iPhone that has company in the imported contact. After saving a contact, it takes you back to Home Screen instead of the contact you just saved and were about to call.
If you have the contact saved in this app, but not your phone, when they call, you get a text telling you who the call is from but it won’t show up over the incoming call. However, if that contact is not in your phones contacts, it won’t tell you who it is on the phone screen which blocks the text from being seen. Often the phone won’t ring when calling either.
Unreliable, lacking features
The app was strongly suggested by both IT dept and legal. Incoming phone calls are often dropped or sent to vm the second I attempt to answer. I have to call the client back because I’m unable to answer their call. Some texts do not arrive at all, yet some do. I’m in the same location on the same phone so I’m unsure what causes the issue. I’ve called support, uninstalled the app and reinstalled, restarted the phone, everything suggested with no results. Now the app indicates unread messages. I click on the dashboard indicating unread messages then a screen appears saying you have no unread messages. The unread messages still there. Also, clients and employees often use group texts when needing to text a team. This doesn’t support group texts. When receiving group text it looks like one-on-one. Replies leave out critical members.
Tons of problems
We’re required by compliance to use this app and I routinely miss text messages even though I have 100% of my notification settings on. Half the time it shows I have a text when I don’t, the other half it shows nothing and I find out days later that a client sent something. It’s always some settings excuse, they never fix anything and we’re stuck with this garbage because there’s no alternative. Makes me look like I’m not paying attention to client communication, which is the #1 problem and something I do everything I can to avoid.
