The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) is proud to launch MyCMPD, an interactive public safety mobile app for Charlotte-Mecklenburg residents that provides updated, accurate, and vetted information at your fingertips. Get notified of police activity and emergencies in your area in near real-time, view crime in your neighborhood, access important CMPD information and resources, and most importantly, stay safe!

Version 2.9
We update the Atlas One app as often as possible to make it faster and more reliable for you. Here are some of the enhancements you’ll find in the latest update:
• You now have the ability to share real-time incidents with others.
• Addresses an issue that led to the app force-closing on select devices.
• Performance improvements.
Ratings and Reviews
Application is amazing, but data collection and usage is not
I installed and loved the app. Interface is very nice and it provides a very useful info, but... they collect too much personal data. I decided to reread again how my information/data is used and am not happy. It’s on of those apps, who allows them use you personal data and sell it to third parties per their discretion if they choose so. I do not agree with that... plus they are heavily collecting my info including my location and what websites I am using and etc.

Can not re logon
Got a new phone and forgot password. Tried to reset. However after following all the password rules and redid the password it would not highlight the arrow to submit. It just gets stuck on set new password and will not go forward. I’m an officer with CMPD and now can’t use the app. There is absolutely no support to resolve the situation. Great app on the old phone, but not able to use it on the new phone. 1 star
App doesn't even work yet...
There isn't coverage for Charlotte. Not sure why they released an app when it doesn't even work yet. If you try to click "Follow" CMPD, it gives an error message.
