A AdvanceCare desenvolveu a App myAdvanceCare para que, de uma forma simples e rápida, possa gerir o seu seguro e acompanhar mais de perto a sua saúde.
- Aceder ao Cartão virtual, que poderá utilizar na nossa Rede médica de prestadores.
- Enviar despesas online, sem necessidade de envio do papel: basta tirar uma foto à despesa ou fazer upload do documento.
- Pesquisar um médico ou especialista por cidade/concelho, código postal e por georreferenciação, com indicação dos serviços disponibilizados e acessibilidades.
- Simular despesas médicas, incluindo exames e tratamentos, antes da sua consulta ou intervenção, para que a sua decisão seja ainda mais informada.
- Ter um médico mais próximo de si, a qualquer hora e a partir de qualquer lugar. Após uma breve triagem clínica, tem o conforto de poder falar com um médico por videochamada, no sentido de orientá-lo para os cuidados médicos mais apropriados.
- Consultar o seu plano de saúde.
- Acompanhar os seus movimentos e estado dos processos de reembolsos e pré-autorizações.

the worst healthcare app
Trying to submit a claim using this app is a nightmare. Often results in spurious error messages asking to repeat the claim process - just to discover that the previous entry was actually recorded. This results in duplicate claims that are handled by an apparently already overstretched claims processing department. It takes several weeks, even months to get claims processed, often incorrectly which brings you back on square one.
If you receive an email request for additional information, there is no way to respond to it by attaching requested documentation by responding to the email or using the app. Instead, the customer service advises to create a new claim, which takes another few weeks/months to process.
The level of competency of people who designed, implemented and tested this app is highly questionable since this app is bringing more confusion into the claim processing.
I am certainly not happy with AdvanceCare service and will be looking for another provider next year.
Nothing “Advanced” about it
There is nothing advanced about AdvanceCare
No way to make an appointment using the app. No was to search for a doctor based on availability, the “Medico Online” (online doctor) in the app displays a phone number you can click on to call, and which is promptly disconnected or which nobody can help you because their computers are down.
Name appears incorrect on the card and calling customer service is another labyrinth in itself in which each question you have is handled by a different department which requires being put on hold, being disconnected and calling back until finally someone with a working computer can help you.
Advanced Pathetic
The app simply doesn’t work
It’s incredible how a disfuncional app is released to the public, without a minimum quality control. It simply does not work. Only solution is go to the website. It must be reworked and re-released
