My Lightning Tracker Pro 4+

As an ole Man I have been using this app for some time now. It’s hard to believe that I never got around to giving a review of it. Finally to me this was a Lightning ⚡️ app that gave you myself and of course our Family the safety that was needed in Storms we all have faced where Lightning has become a threat and Dangerous situation. This app is right on to when the Lightning strikes but also the location really pin point. I believe the Developer has put a great deal of time hard work sweat and yea love into coding this Software to make you myself and our family safe. It shows with the number of updates that have been made to keep up with the Technology that keeps changing every minute every hour and yes every second! So Mr. Developer I want to thank you for a Unique Outstanding Design App an App that is a 5 Star ⭐️ without doubt. So as I pick up my cane 🦯 and head down the road I know it is safe because of this great app. So Mr. Developer I Tip my Hat 🎩 to you and say “ Thank’s “ for my friends out there if you took the time to read this Download this App give it a try listen to this ole man the App is truly truly amazing!

I’m a hobby photographer and have a Davis VP2 weather station here at the house. So between those two hobbies I got interested in photographing lightning storms.

Being down here in south Alabama we don’t have the wide open flat land like in the midwestern areas where you can see a storm fifty miles away...if you don’t know they’re coming the storms can be on you around here before you know...and too late to set up cameras.

With My Lightning Tracker I can see a line of storms coming into my area and be set up for them when they get here.

The alerts are great in letting you know early on that there is lightning activity in the area that you’ve defined.

The app also has a radar included and with this I’m able to get a good weather picture in my mind of what is going on and whether I want to set up my cameras. Now, if I can just get my lightening photography skills honed some!!!

There’s really no difference between the free and paid/“Pro” versions other than that th ad bar at the bottom of the screen is removed in the paid version. But, I was impressed enough with the app that I felt the app’s authors deserved a little something. It’s a nice app if your interested in weather and lightning specifically.

I am a retired paramedic, and knowing what I know due to calls envolving lightning strikes, I would not be without this app. I found the Lightning Pro app a few years ago after “gaining invaluable knowledge” regarding a strike related injury on a seemingly beautiful summer afternoon. (I was not the victim...but I was shaken after responding to the call for the person that was). I was grateful to find such an app even existed, and even more grateful for it’s ability to accurately forewarn of the presence of lightning during rapidly changing conditions. There have been some great additions to the app, including a meteorologist grade radar. Keep in mind, it can only save you if you act appropriately to the information it provides.
