MX5 Tech Remote 4+

Only reason for the 3 star is that the app won’t connect properly. The product is great and it work with the button on the inside but the app won’t connect I’ve tried resetting and it just won’t show up on the menu. It worked one time flawlessly but now there’s 0 luck in getting it to show up I spent about an hour trying to get it to show up.

Very excited to finally have the accompanying app for my wink mod on my miata!! Works pretty well for having just come out for ios, initial pairing dors take veeeeery long however idk if that is an across the board issue or just my phone (using iphone 8+ latest ios and latest bluetooth version) but once it pairs, using winks within the app works flawlessly. That being said, getting into the wink settings 99.9 percent of the time results in a crash but think will prolly be kinked out soon. Overall very happy :)

Great company. Would buy more from them just for their exceptional customer service. However the app is not the best. The winky mod itself is extremely easy to install but when connecting bluetooth I had to stand right next to control box. I couldn’t even use the app while sitting inside the car. If I stepped one foot away from where I put the cable box the app would disconnect. Needs some work on that part. Was hoping I could use the mod at car meets when I wasn’t next to my Miata. If I fix this problem I will update :)
