The MVV-App is the cost-free and ad-free app for timetable information and public transport tickets in the entire Munich transport network (Münchner VerkehrsVerbund).
Whether you use a regional train, suburban train (S-Bahn), underground (U-Bahn), streetcar (Tram), bus, or on-demancd services (RufTaxi, FLEX or FLEXlinie) - with the app you will always find the fastest connection to your destination in Munich and the districts of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Dachau, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Fürstenfeldbruck, Landsberg a.L., Miesbach, Munich, Rosenheim, Starnberg, Weilheim-Schongau and in the city of Rosenheim.
Thanks to real-time information (forecasts), you are always well informed. You can buy the right ticket directly via smartphone, with MVVswipe conveniently via check-in and check-out, without having to know our tariff details.

• Live map: Our map shows you the current position of buses, trains and additional mobility services (scooters, hire bikes, car sharing) for a flexible route planning.
• MVVswipe: Buy tickets without knowing the MVV fare? All you have to do is swipe on your smartphone and you'll always get the right ticket at the best price for your connections.
• MVV MobileTickets & Deutschland-Ticket: Our MVV-App is the ticket machine for your pocket - with just a few clicks you can purchase the Deutschland-Ticket (Germany-wide local public Transport ticket on subscription) as well as all our MVV-Tickets and the CityTourCard and Munich Card.
• Easy payment: Pay for your tickets conveniently with Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, SEPA (direct debit procedure within the European Union) or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
• On-Demand-Services: FLEX, FLEXlinie and RufTaxi - with our app you can book all on-demand services integrated into the MVV network (minimum requirement: MVV-App v6.101.x).

Thanks for your feedback. The current update adds PayPal payments for MobileTickets. In addition, several sections have been revised to improve usability and the contrast ratio. Ratings and Reviews
A pain that could and should work but does not
Often won’t display tickets to buy. Need to delete app and download and register again... and again… and again… Shame.
Took money, no ticket
Beware: This is a scam app. When I was traveling from the hotel to the airport, I bought a ticket with my credit card. After transaction was complete, the ticket didn’t appear in my app and the receipt was not send.
When I contacted the support and tried to explain the situation and request my ticket or refund of the money, MVV told me that I was lying to them and that I actually had a ticket (when in reality there was nothing in the app). They closed the case without returning my money.
Time to hire a UX team
This app is incredibly confusing to do basic tasks. It’s obvious that all UX paths align with the backend but not with how users would want to find and purchase a ticket. Hire a product manager. Hire a UX team
