The go-at-your-own-pace dumbbell-only workouts offered inside are straightforward for women that are working professionals and stay-at-home moms wanting to get in the best shape of their lives and reach their fitness goals.
Inside you will be able to track your progress, by adding your progress photos, and measurements and track the weight lifted for each workout to ensure that you are progressing from week to week.

•3 Programs: As an active subscriber, you receive 3 workouts to pick from: our community favorite ‘Weekly Workouts’ Movement program, A brand new 6-Week ‘Movement for Beginners’ program, and a 4-week “Move Your Body Anywhere” program. More programs will be coming soon at no additional charge!
• Weekly Workouts:
• The most popular program as new workouts is released on Saturdays at noon MST for the following week.
• These workouts are challenging, effective, time-efficient go-at-your-own-pace workouts for all fitness levels with minimal equipment.
• Lots of variations from week to week to keep you excited, engaged and interested.
• 5 days per week flexible schedule: Lower Body, Upper Body, Cardio/Core, Shoulders/Glutes, and Full Body Conditioning.
• Two workout options each day: a “standard” workout that takes 45-60 minutes to complete or a 30-minute version if you’re low on time
• Movement For Beginners: Coming Soon!
• Brand new 6-week progressive program.
• These workouts help you develop a foundation for those new to exercise or returning after taking some time off.
• 5 days per week flexible schedule: 2x Lower Body, 1x Upper Body, 1x Push Day 1x Pull Day.
• Simple foundational movements that will ensure you build strength, coordination, and balance.
• Alternate exercises if you need to scale back or don’t have access to a bench.
• The workouts range from 30-40 minutes to complete.
• Movement For “On-The-Go”:
• A 4-week program that you can use when you’re traveling or on vacation with minor to no equipment.
• This program utilizes bodyweight, resistance bands, and booty pump bands are optional but encouraged.
• 4 days per week flexible schedule: Lower Body, Upper Body, Cardio/Core, and Full Body.
• The workouts will range from 28-32 minutes to complete.
- Progress: Inside, you will be able to track your progress by adding your progress photos and measurements and track the weight lifted for each workout to ensure that you progress from week to week.
- Community & Support: As an active subscriber, you do not have to rely on yourself; you will have access to join thousands of like-minded women from around the world inside our private Facebook community group. This community is here to cheer you on, celebrate your wins and encourage you when you’re feeling down.
- Subscriptions: MWJ offers two subscription options, Monthly and Annual. These subscriptions provide full access to the app, including all programs, and access to the private community Facebook group. You may manage your subscriptions, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Billing Settings after the purchase. Flexible, easy to follow & effective!
I’ve been using the app & following the set workouts now for about 2 months and I’m in love. I hated the other apps where you had to search through a bunch of different workouts to find something & if you’re new to weight lifting like I was/still am, you probably will typically feel overwhelmed by other apps like I did. Found Julie and her workouts on Instagram and have been obsessed. These are perfect for someone who wants to build muscle, burn fat, who wants to do workouts on their own time & in the comfort of their home. Or anywhere. You can do these anywhere & you really don’t need a ton of equipment which I love. You can choose the length of the workout you’d like (30 min or 60 min) & Julie has everything ready for you: warm up moves, circuits planned out with timers to help you with sets, the type of equipment you’ll need (mostly dumbbells) & a cool down/stretching at the end. You finish up, log your workout & get to see how much accumulated weight you lifted and constantly can push yourself to lift heavier. Everything is planned for you week by week and there’s no guessing which muscles you should workout that day. I love the flexibility and can already feel myself getting stronger and stronger. Started with 3-5 lb weights (struggling) and now just bought a set of 20s ready because my 10s were getting too easy! Thank you Julie & Josh!
Best workout app
I’ve been consistently using this app for my workouts for a little over 6 months, and I love it.
Pros:
- you get to choose if you want a workout that is about 30 minutes or 45-60 minutes long.
- you choose the weight and can alter the reps or time if necessary
- the videos on how to do each exercise makes you confident in doing an exercise for the first time
- every exercise has several alternate movements. I don’t have a bench, but because of the no-bench alternative movement options, I never feel like it affects the quality of the workout.
- the workouts are intentional and I never get bored with doing the same old deadlifts, squats, etc.
-there is a stretch warm up and cool down for every workout
- you can do it at home, in a hotel room, at the gym, ANYWHERE.
- you will see results. I have always been consistent in going to the gym, and while I know that lasting results take time, these structured workouts will have you noticing results within a couple of months.
Cons:
- I do wish that she would explain what muscles are being targeted for every move. It is mentioned in some exercises, but most of them just have notes on your form and such.
- knowing how to put in your weights may seem a bit confusing at first, so read the notes section of each workout because she will explain how and why.
One last thing- this app + her podcast “Embrace Your Real” + her Macro Counting program will help you be consistent and succeed in your wellness journey.

One of the updates we have coming is a "muscle worked" so you will know which muscles are being worked for that movement! Also, we have been trying to ensure each movement has a "HOW TO LOG" if you're interested and want to know how to log each movement in the app, so I am happy to hear that you're finding this helpful!

The best workout app and community!
I’m a 45yo single mom trying to keep up with my kids and build a strong body. I have tried many different apps and programs and even had a personal trainer at a gym at one point over the past 5 years. None of them stuck. I always got bored or unmotivated because I wasn’t seeing results. I have been using Julie’s workouts now for 6 months and am thrilled to report that I consistently workout 5x a week! The app is so easy to use, the workouts are challenging but not impossible, the community is super supportive and helpful, I can go on raving. I started out lifting with 5lb dumbbells and struggling lol and am now up to 20lbs and feeling strong. The well designed app and workouts are to credit for my progress and I look forward to being in the best shape of my life as I continue building strength!! You will not regret starting on this workout journey!!!
