The app itself is a fantastic idea and has the potential to simplify students life in terms of accessing grades and class schedules. Unfortunately though, it is missing the one aspect that would make it truly useful, the ability to register for classes. Of the features included, the majority of students will primarily use the bottom four [ grades, class schedule, holds, schedule of classes ] which represent approximately 50% of the functionality of the app and even then, their need to use these features will be minimal. As a result, I feel as though this app will not be worth the use without the inclusion of registration functionality and will have limited adoption as a result.

The App is great for things like viewing your schedule and paying fees. It’s super convenient being able to access everything in one place. You’re also able to Add/Drop classes through the app and there’s also a tab that lets you access Canvas , which is really helpful . I especially recommend the Map feature and calendar of events for new students, It’s a large college and I wish I had something like this when I was first getting to know the campus. So far I haven’t had any problems with the app. I recommend giving it a try !

It is not the most attractive, fluid nor responsive app, but I found it to be useful and used it more often than I had expected. It’s been in need of an update for several months now, since it is in no way compatible with iOS 11.

I’ve seen better apps for K-12 schools and I’m sure there are students at SAC that could improve the app. You can still find the app being advertised via the Mt. SAC website with the link that leads to the App Store, but there seems to be no attempt to upgrade it. This is very disappointing. SAC is large & forever expanding, both in capacity, capabilities and technology, but, for whatever reason, I don’t think this app is a priority. That is unfortunate.
