The Momento M6 Dash Cam Viewer app allows drivers to review, edit, and download video recorded on their Wi-Fi enabled Momento dash cameras. To use this application, please confirm that you have the following dash camera systems installed on your vehicle:

Use the Momento M6 Dash Cam Viewer app for any of the following:
• Recording trips and exciting moments on the road
• Exporting video recorded from an accident or collsion
• Sharing driving footage on social media (Facebook)
• Configuring the settings on your Momento Wi-Fi dash cam
• Much more!
How It Works:
Wi-fi enabled Momento dash cameras broadcast a “Wi-Fi hotspot”, which is accessible within ~10 meters of your vehicle. Open the Momento Dash Cam Viewer app to review video that is recorded and stored on the camera’s micro-SD card.
Important note: Momento dash cameras do NOT upload your video footage to any type of online, or “cloud” storage. All of your video footage is stored locally on the hardware, and is accessible within ~10 meters. That means – no storage or subscription fees!

iOS 14 update???
Having issues connecting to cam via WiFi after updating to iOS 14. Any plans on updating app??
Phone recognizes WiFi hotspot and app shows it’s connected. Once I try to click live it gives a message to connect to WiFi hotspot. Haven’t had this issue until I updated to IOS 14.

Read other reviews, should have listened. The app WILL NOT stay connected to the dash cam WiFi. I emailed the company because I called over and over again over 2 days and they won’t return my call. So I have no choice but to email. I mentioned in the email that they don’t answer the phone, it goes right to voicemail and the rep responded (the next day James W) to tell me that their phone lines are open from 8-5pst. I’ve tried 6 times over the course of 2 days, left several messages and the only response I got was 1 email. They suggested turning on airplane mode and trying to connect again. Didn’t work. They said if that didn’t work to format the sd card. Did that, didn’t work. Responded to the email to let them know it didn’t resolve the issue. 6 hours and counting , no response. Tried calling in between then and now, as I said, straight to voicemail. I have multiple devices at home including a printer and a Nikon camera which both use similar technology to transfer data but this camera just simply doesn’t work. All my other devices just switch on WiFi and connect to it, done, not this dash cam. And I’m not alone here guys, are you reading your reviews? This WiFi connectivity is a real issue. I’m going back to the install shop tomorrow and I’ll let them have a try at it. $500 to have this installed, should have trusted my gut and cancelled the install appointment. I want a refund, this is ridiculous.
Pretty much hate this app if your iphone is “too old”
I currently have an iphone 12. This app does not work if they deem your iphone is outdated.
Last time i had an iphone x and after a while this app stopped working for me. I tried reinstalling the app and making sure the software on the phone was updated, no dice. I eventually ended up upgrading my phone to the iphone12. This appeared to fix the problem for about 1.5 years. Now it again does not work with my iphone. We know the camera still works because my husband can access it with his Samsung. This is a problem of an acciden occurs and my husband is not with me to be able to pull the footage.
To be clear, the info at the top of the app says “connected to m6” but at the bottom it will say “wifi is off” even though connected on my iphone.
