Advertisements:
After choosing a new dice skin, a video ad will automatically play, which you can immediately skip. This is the only time you will be presented with an ad inside the app. You can also pay a small, one-time fee to remove all ads. This allows us to keep supporting and creating cool new features for the app. Thank you!

Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic app!
Love this app! The creator added a very nice variety of high quality skins to choose from. Though an ad plays when you select the skin, you’re able to preview the skin you want before without triggering the ad. Even then, the ads are skippable almost instantly- not even the annoying 30 second unskippable “playable ads” that make you sit and watch a finger pointing at a spot for the whole time. Highly respectable in my opinion as given that you don’t have to watch an ad for any other action.
In addition to being able to create presets with modifiers (and you can save different skins for each one), it also has the feature of being able to roll up to a massive 150 dice at once, being any combination of the different possible die (and then it will give you a total). I love that despite how unnecessarily high that number is, you have the option to do it just for kicks lol. It’s admittedly very fun to watch the animation. There’s also haptic feedback on the dice bounces and the ability to shake to roll. When you swipe to roll, the dice reacts to the speed and angle of your swipe in the way that it rolls. Very well designed app by a creator who clearly isn’t greedy and wanted to provide a high quality and accessible app to the DnD community.
Great dice application
I’ve been looking for a dice rolling application that accommodates re-roll features and this has almost everything I want in a dice app.
An improvement I’d like to recommend is some sort of visual change to the d4. All other dice end up being easily identifiable since their rolled face is upward facing. The same is not true for the d4. This doesn’t impact gameplay too much, but it takes longer to figure out what to re-roll when using multiple die. Especially since the die get slightly smaller when there are more on the screen.
Another improvement would be the ability to use pre-made dice sets. Have the application be able to recall modifiers added to a roll? Perhaps be able to scroll through the roll history and tap to select and use old roll sets.
Third improvement, implement a way to apply different skins to different die when multiple die are being used. Differentiating between different sized die, and sometimes multiple die from different sources would make gameplay easier with the mechanics of various games.
Bring back the old designs! It’s a clear downgrade
I have owned this app for years and have always been a fan of the designs, however after this update all the designs I previously fell in love with have been replaced by counterparts that are less than stunning, while before I considered saying anything at all after checking the textures it is clear that the quality has gotten far worse, please add an option to use old dice designs as the new ones feel very dead or upscaled incorrectly, ect, even lacking previous depth,
Ive later showed before and after photos and the difference is massively clear that the quality of the app has drastically declined going from stunning visuals to extraordinarily flat, even the numbers got harder to read and feel as if they were just tacked on like it was typed in the most basic font where as before they fit the shape of the dice and were bold and easy to read, I request some changes or considerations as a setting to change back to the old dice, even the selection screen was far better instead of a flat menu we could see it turn and it made the experience so magical before! But now it feels completely soulless! Please, I care about this type of app even though it’s such a simple one, before I recommended it to my tabletops but now after this it’s completely fallen out of favor with all my groups from the lack of design!
Developer Response ,
Hello, I appreciate the feedback! I'm sorry about the degraded experience you're noticing with my latest updates. There's a few things going on with the latest updates that might help explain some issues you're seeing:
- (1) There was a bug introduced that downgraded everyone's graphics level to "Low" in the main settings screen of the app. This greatly reduces texture and lighting quality for older phones or anyone who prefers to save on battery life while using the app. This regression was fixed in the latest update, but you still might need to manually open the app settings and select "Medium" or "High" for GFX quality. This should help improve some of the issues you're seeing.
- (2) The previous dice designs were built with a deprecated version of the Unity game engine. Due to Apple and Google requirements (mainly around new security requirements), I was at risk of Mighty Dice being removed from the app stores unless I upgraded the app. This forced me to upgrade to a newer version of Unity, which broke all of the previous dice skin designs and post processing effects and forced me to reimplement all of it from scratch. I did my best to recapture the same look and feel, but couldn't quite match it perfectly (some skins more than others).
- (3) None of the previous skins were removed. All of the existing skins are still available. They might just look a little different due to the reasons above.
- (4) I just published an update that hopefully improves the colors, overall look of the dice, and numbers on the dice. Once you've updated to the latest version, please let me know if there are any specific skins you aren't happy with and I'll see what I can do to improve/fix it. You can email me directly at: thecalebjacob@gmail.com - thanks!
