I called the customer service number from the app, and after a little bit of a holding time, a very helpful young lady came on and walked me through the process and basically told me where I was going wrong was that the little body shaped person in the lower right hand corner of the Unit needs to have a number one or two in it to correspond with whoever the user is when there’s a blank in that body of that person it is in “guest mode“ and guest mode does not save or transfer data via Bluetooth. This point is not made in the instruction booklet and I think it’snegligent for them to leave it out because that’s important for people to know why it’s not working and will save everyone a lot of frustration and time but thank you to the customer service young lady that I spoke to today. She was extremely helpful.

The old app used to work great. Since the new app was introduced it has been terrible. It doesn’t sync, I have to enter all measurements manually. Bring back the old app, it was much better. If you see this brand at Costco don’t buy it, they don’t stand behind their products.

This machine has the clunkiest app I’ve ever tried to work with. We borrowed a monitor from friends for a week before buying this one and the other monitor worked seamlessly with its app. When we found this one at Costco, we figured it would be the same. The readings are fine, but porting them to the phone is a disaster. It feels like trying to connect equipment to electronics 20 yrs ago. Every time we try to pair the two, it fails. It’s like someone wrote the user instructions in a vacuum and never actually tried to connect the two on their own. If you do t care about the app to store your results then just ignore this rant.
