Michigan Athletics 17+

The app needs some work. The stories are not posted very timely and the worst part is the press conferences from the football coach don’t work. When you click on the link to the press conference it just gives you a three second clip of a blank screen. Somebody needs to spend some time fixing up the app.

Several problems with this app. 1) When you get information notifications it does not take you to the page for that information in the app. For example, the game has been delayed due to weather notification comes, you click on the notification and it takes you to the Home Screen. And the Home Screen does not have that information nor an easy way to find it 2) in the transfer page if you switch apps to look up information like the name or number you are transferring to and come back, again goes to Home Screen. 3) Of course, it relies on an active internet connection for everything and there is no service in or near the football stadium on game days. It should download data and content in the background so it works as much as possible offline

As a proud Michigan alum, I am not proud of this app. The “manage tickets” section regularly doesn’t load anything (it says “we couldn’t load your data, please refresh the page or try again later.”). It’s always timing out and loading very slowly. The integration with stubhub to sell tickets never seems to work. I get an error every time I try to log into stubhub via this Michigan app. It’s no wonder Michigan needs to remind you via email and an actual phone call to tell me to make sure to download the tickets to my phone before the game because they must know how horrible this app is. Get some CS undergrads to fix this.
