Description
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) WMA Check-In application provides a more efficient and easy process for checking in and out of Wildlife Management Areas (WMA). Users are advised to download the app and create an account prior to visiting a WMA due to weak cellular signals at various WMAs.
Features of this app include:
• The ability to create and store multiple accounts including yours, a friend, family members, and others.
• The ability to pick your WMA location and activities all from your device.
• The ability to complete your visit and record your harvest activity.
• The ability to check-in and check-out even without cellular coverage via the store forward capability.

Convenient Communication
Very convenient. I can check in lying on my couch since my property borders Old River WMA. Just a very convenient method of communication with MDWF since I use WMA’s. I plan on hunting more around the state this year and I’m glad I have this app. I'm friends with area managers, they all are helpful. Fine job MDWF!!!
Parking area by the gate
The culverts are way to narrow. My trailer tire fell off and I busted my tire. I thought I was paying attention but it slipped off. I was told I was not the only person who had missed the turn. Others have fallen in. It needs to be wider. Please widen them. Thanks. Referring to the parking area at the gate
Convenient
This makes me think about all the times there was no pen or I went to a new location and find myself lost looking for the station and be late to the stand or there was no cards this alleviate all that!
