Math made difficult

I see that you guys are trying to make it easy, but you are not starting from the beginning in each subject. Example, linear equation , all of a sudden you are proving an answer without really going through the explanation of the Linear equation. This app has potentials, but the writer is assuming too many things off the student. The student is expected to know all about linear functions before exploring the materials presented in the App. Also, most of the equations given in this manual are themselves confusing adding misery to a math student. I have been teaching math for almost 20 years and I find it difficult to navigate the course material due to the use of inappropriate symbols, equations and the assumptions that the student know all about the topic. Please revise all content, start by explaining what each term means, go into where can you apply this in real life, then and only then you can go into math. Thank you

Not the best and probably not the worst

The app isn’t really what I would call “interactive” and it is overall very shallow. The UI is mediocre at best and it doesn’t really feel any different from any free app. Idk for me the sorting is weird since they show u a table of anti derivatives before you even learn about integrals and how they work. Focus on organizing the math by difficulty if you can since there’s just section headers. Sometimes people don’t understand certain variables and symbols; so it would probably be a good idea to put like a hoverable ui element over symbols or math terms people may have forgotten or are unaware of. Overall I’m not really impressed and to me there are much better options out there rather than paying $3ish for premium. I’m pretty sure this team of people are new to app development but I think they should know what happens when they slap a price tag on their software (if they don’t know already). As people said before, khan academy is free of charge and is much better than this currently is (yes khan academy has much more resources but still), and the developers should focus on a way to make this app teach math in a unique and engaging way.

App is good resource, not a teaching tool

The one star reviews are harsh, unyielding, and expect the app to be something it’s not. This app is a clean, spare, dictionary of math formulas and concepts. All the info in a clear, easy to find place.

It assumes you’ve already learned the material, and need help remembering it. If you are not learning or haven’t already learned the concepts, this will not teach you.

It is not a magic wand, it’s not a teacher, and it’s not going to make the math itself easier. It’s simply a library of information that’s easily accessible. Khan academy and other online tools are not this. They are online math lessons, this is not.

For the people complaining about the price, it’s $3, far less than the cost of any book. The people who built it did an excellent job, and you’re able to test the app out for free. You don’t pay the money unless you decide the app works for you. If the app is not what you need, that doesn’t make it a 1 star app. The rating of apps is not about you.
