Dream Machine has completely transformed how I brainstorm and create. It feels like having a creative partner that gets my ideas and helps me take them further. The new image model from Luma is incredible—I can turn a simple thought into stunning visuals in seconds.
What I love most is how natural it feels to use. I can sketch out ideas in words, iterate on them, and quickly see new possibilities. It’s like my creativity flows effortlessly through the platform.

What happened to luma?
A few months back in summer before ai started to trend lots I used luma a lot no problem, of course this was a free trial. Back then you could upload your pictures for your ai art and of course it was limited but you only had to wait so many hours or a day to upload again. Now which brings me to the ruining of this app; becoming money hungry. Now you can do about four 5 second videos once a month unless you’re subscribed which is absolutely ridiculous. The ai videos also take 3+ hours to render, super dumb. Those looking for an ai alternative that does the same thing, try kling ai. You can choose between 5 or 10 second vids and the videos only take about 8-10 minutes max. Luma please read this review and do better, I get you want to make profit and money but this is ridiculous. Kling ai for the win until further notice.
Unpredictable
Sometimes it’s amazing- like really amazing. Sometimes you’ll want to pull your hair out. It’s wildly unpredictable and inconsistent in quality and style, even when you reference precious images. You’re going to use a lot of credits trying to get the AI to understand you sometimes- and sometimes it just doesn’t listen and you have to start over on a new board. Also, just a HUGE issue for me is that I do vertical format social media stuff-sometimes it will do vertical format and sometimes not, even when specifically writing it in the prompt. I wish there was a setting for this so all prompts could be made vertical format without me needing to include it in the prompt. Developers please help🙏🏻
