Your apartment building is only using this to cut down on costs on fobs and keys, being reliant on your phone (which's battery will soon become life or death if you are forced to use this app) to enter your living space is an actual joke. Not only that, but the app takes way too long to connect to the locks, replies on my apartment complex's terrible wifi to function, and sometimes will decide it doesn't want to open anymore and requires you to redownload the entire app to even get through your door! The worst part is that these piece of garbage locks are the reason my complex has so many break-ins during winter break! I probably wouldn't even use my phone anymore if it weren't for this app, if i had just been given a key, a stupid piece of metal to open my door (like the one for my room and mailbox) how much simpler would this have all been!

The app is reliant on the fact that none of us have a choice to use it, so if you have to use it, complain, complain to your landlord, complain to on review websites, complain to other tenants. This shouldn't be acceptable so don't accept it!

App went down and I got locked out for multiple hours. I don’t know why there isn’t just like a physical key alternative. This isn’t the only issue. The app doesn’t have an Apple wallet version so you have to open the app each time which can be a hassle. It takes a while to scan sometimes. It’s just really frustrating and it’s literally not easier than just having a normal physical key. I’d actually prefer a physical key so I don’t have to risk getting locked out like this. Literally what is the point of this product if a physical key is better in every way?

All the annoying quirks about this app like it not being apple wallet compatible and needing to have a charged battery to use could be forgiven if it actually worked. But it doesn’t. Not once has this app scanned properly, even with help from workers at my apartment complex. It just refuses to work and now I’m locked out of my building every single day. Any company looking to use this for their apartment complex should think more than twice about using it and the company that made it should be ashamed.
