GREAT APP !!!!

I REALLY LOVE THIS APP!!! It was just one random day of me wanting to be an architect and design a house and I found this across the web and I got hooked into it ever since! There's so many furnitures, colors and wallpapers to choose from just from the free version! You can make your house, apartment or condo from square zero and customize it any way you want!!! From the floor, wallpaper, door designs and ceiling! Even the roof! The only thing I don't like is you can't open your last design unless you buy premium. Like I haven't even taken a vid of the mansion I made because I accidentally made a new project not knowing I could not open the last one I made 🥹. I was so sad I worked on that for like half a month with breaks. But I'm just gaslighting myself that I at least finished it before it went to trash😭. Guys a tip, if you accidentally deleted the whole entire thing (which I stupidly did I got mad at myself so much I wanted to throw my laptop on to mars) do command Z! :) Overall fun just not the projects huhuhuhuhu next time I'll take a vid of my house before opening a new one!!

Thank you for your feedback! Indeed, the Free version only allows for one project. The good news, however, is that your other projects are not gone - when creating a new project, you are offered to save the previous one on your device, and though you won't be able to open it again with the Free version, you will be able to open it later when you buy a paid version (even the cheapest option will work). And of course you can make videos and screenshots of your projects.

Great for visualizing furnishing and renovating your house

Nice mixture of accessibility and precision, as needed. Easy to create rooms and walls, and to add windows, doors, and openings. The range of materials is pretty good, and easy to apply. It is easy to create and set camera views. Working in the split screen — half floor plan, and half 3D view — makes changes and additions immediately understandable. Access to the Trimble 3D Warehouse is great: There is a huge number of options for furniture and other elements in your interior; almost all allow customizable dimensions. The only noticeable lack, for me, is the range of light fixtures. Only the light fixtures in the software act as light sources (customizable for intensity and other attributes); the light fixtures in Trimble 3D Warehouse don’t offer the lighting functionality (at least what I’ve found). To achieve relatively realistic lighting and shadows, you need to use the limited range of fixtures in the software.

Minecraft for grownups

I'm sure the technical aspects of Live Home are lost on me but my youngest kiddo and I LOVE designing spaces together. He's been using this apps since he was five or six. He's now almost ten. We purchased the lifetime license and all the extras so I thought I might try it for our laundry room renovation. Now I have to be mindful of how much time I spend on it so as to avoid whiling away entire days sitting on the couch, glued to my laptop! Our kiddo prefers the iPad platform, says it is easier to use. I use it with my Macbook and love it. I regularly have to watch tutorials, read articles, etc, to accomplish my goals as it isn't the most intuitive platform for a novice like me but I really do enjoy it and look forward to using it for more reallife projects as well as just for fun!
