Description

Lift Log is the simplest and easiest to use app to track your workouts.

From the Developer:
I built Lift Log because I was displeased with all the other workout tracking apps on the App Store. Other apps made me input my routine before using the app, create workouts before recording data, and more annoying tasks that forced me to focus on the app more than on my workout. Lift Log is different. Log your sets easily and effortlessly, usually with only two taps. Reference graphs to track your progress over time. Add workouts on the fly, no need to configure anything just start lifting and start logging. Download the app and give it a try, I’m sure you’ll be happy your did.

Lift Log is built for both beginners and experts, Lift Log provides everything you need to track your progress and get stronger. Its simple and intuitive design allows you to effortlessly record your workouts as quickly as possible, so you can focus on getting in those extra reps.

Features:
- Minimalist interface, simpler than any other fitness app on the App Store
- Type in any routine and Lift Log remembers it and starts tracking it forever
- Graphs show your progress over time

Subscription Details:

A $7.99 monthly or $59.99 annual subscription is required to access all that Lift Log has to offer.

Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the amount selected. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Useful but could use a couple improvements

I’ve been using this app for several months now. It’s very simple and easy to use. It does a fantastic job performing as a digital note pad. I do pay for the subscription and hope that one day some of the improvements will be added.
First, I do not know what regulates the date and time in this app. If I work out in the morning, and do a second work out in the evening, my evening work out will count as tomorrows work out. So then when I log my work out the following morning, it is listed as the same day as the evening before. This clutters my log and is inaccurate. Would like to see a way to change the date of each work out.
Second, this one is less important as the first. A share feature for the daily logged workout would be beneficial for anyone who shares their work with a coach. Screen shots work fine until you put in a high volume day. Multiple screen shots to capture the entire day is annoying.
Overall, it’s a solid app, if either of these changes happen I think the app would be nearly perfect. I am happy enough with the app and will continue to use it.

Great customer service and a solid, easy to use interface

Edit: the creator rolled out a subscription requirement that I objected to (I wasn’t a huge fan of the way he rolled it out). Jake, the creator, answered my complaints directly and immediately, in a way that i really appreciated. Seems like the app is run by one guy who is really striving to do right by his customers. After he addressed my issues I couldn’t be happier, and I’m back to wholeheartedly recommending the app. It’s very intuitive, and provides just the right amount of functionality. I have been frustrated with how many useless features other workout logs have (honestly, I don’t need videos of what a bicep curl looks like- I just want to be able to log what I do at the gym), so having a stripped down but functional option has been great.

The app is incredibly easy to use. No unnecessary bells and whistles, which is exactly what I was looking for. And Jake (the developer) is incredible. I had a few suggestions, so I emailed them through the feedback option on the app. He got back to me with tips and great feedback within 20 minutes. Literally the best customer service I've ever gotten from an app. I can't recommend this app enough.

I loved this app

I really loved this app and had just been using it a couple weeks. I was in the middle of my workout and logging things as I go and I got the subscription pop up. I’m fine with the creator wanting to do subscriptions and totally understand it but the way it was rolled out bothered me. I didn’t have a warning so if I didn’t pay for the subscription my data would’ve been gone, as far as I’m aware. So I purchased the $7.99 subscription but I’ll be cancelling because I just can’t budget almost $10/month for a log. I really understand moving to subscriptions but I was irritated that I had no warning and I didn’t want to lose my logs.
