Description

If your library uses Atriuum as its cataloging software, you can download Librista - the companion app for patrons. With Librista, you can search the library’s online catalog and view your items out, renew and reserve items, create book lists, and more.

To begin, use the Library Locator to find your Atriuum library by location or searching. To log on, enter the same credentials you normally use to access your library’s account. Based on your library’s policies, you may be able to register for a new account.

Librista features:
- View trending and newly added items.
- Access eBooks if your library partners with other providers.
- Place holds on books, DVDs, etc.
- Watch subjects, authors, or series to be notified if your library acquires new items.
- Save items and categorize them in book lists, such as Favorites, To Be Read, etc.
- Find out about community groups/events if your library posts this information.
- View account information, including items out, fines, etc.
- Set preferences for when you receive alerts (based on your library’s notification policies).
- Scan ISBNs to see if your library has a specific book before you purchase it.
- Switch between different catalogs if you sometimes visit other libraries in your area.

Stuck stuck, stuck!

For the last few months, every time I attempt to access this app, I’m stuck on the home page endlessly clocking. I can get no further- after a few months, I would think there would be a fix. The app is now essentially useless.

Used to work great

I have used this app from my library for many years. All of a sudden it is not showing my history except for the year 2030. Don’t bother calling the support number because it isn’t for normal people. You have to ask your library for them to put in a trouble ticket. Good luck with that. Most of the people who work at my library did not even know that had it. So at this point I’m removing the app. Then will try to redownload it. Since there is no update option.
While using the app no way to see the version number. Grrr

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback! We logged an enhancement request to make the version visible, and we will look into the history issue. If you have any additional questions or concerns, you can always email us at apps@booksys.com.

Looks better, but functionality is poor post update.

The app used to make it simple to add to and create book lists. The option to add a book to a specific list is such a cumbersome process now. The app is also slow and glitchy often. I have a lot of lists as a homeschool mom who takes full advantage of checking out books from our library. I also sent an email to the developer detailing what I hope are only kinks that will be worked out quickly! I need Librista to function like it used to, with the new look as a bonus.
