Thank you, perfect game!

I wanted something like Balatro but without the integration of Tarot cards (not everyone loves occult symbolism). So I won’t play Balatro, even though I liked the overall idea. I just won’t play a game with Tarot. I also wanted portrait mode and a minimalistic vibe. And I enjoy a word game, even though I wouldn’t say I’m great at them. But I couldn’t find anything.

Until I searched again and found Letterlike randomly. OMG, what a great game, an awesome and new mashup that really works! And you can play in short spurts since it saves after a round. Essential for busy people.

This is really fun to play, and you always feel a sense of progression. I highly recommend it, and appreciate the fair premium monetizing with no ads, no data collection, no internet required, and small file size and good battery consumption. And it’s family friendly, nothing offensive or off-putting.

Mostly it’s intuitive, and you learn by just trying. A couple things in the store I’m not sure what they do (there are buttons about words and tiles, rerolls or something, but I’m not clear on what they do, how that works). Still, this is an awesome game. I’m a casual player, don’t care about learning a bunch of synergies, yet still this is fun to play. A hardcore gamer will like it too. Something for everyone here.

Quite Fun

I really all enjoying this word game quite a bit thus far. Having the buffs and multipliers adds an extra level of challenge and fun to the classic word game I think. I got pretty far in one play-through.

Im not sure that I fully understand the shop, though. I buy the diamonds sometimes. But I don’t particularly understand what they are being used for or going towards? If I buy enough am I then able to open up some of the locked slots for the special powers? I hope that’s what is going on? I wish that there was a little more explanation about the shop please. Thank you.

Overall, though, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I believe I’ll be playing this title a lot. As an avid word game enthusiast this game ranks quite high up among the greats in my opinion.
