Decent app! Like other people mentioned, sometimes animated cover art will freeze the app.

The thing I am very much hoping for in terms of the app’s next steps that I feel will really take this app to the next level is to emulate something like Airbuds. I love checking on my friends’ statistics on the website, but a quick view option on your phone would be so fun and would actually prompt my friends to get the app, as they don’t have the app because they care more about viewing other people’s statistics than their own (whereas I enjoy doing both).

It’s really sad to see this happen, and it’s over one really horrible idea that I genuinely have no clue who thought it was good. The issue is that you get animated album covers in your list of scrobbles, and it’s a cool update, if it didn’t completely crash the app everytime you try to open it. But hey! What if they have a setting to disable that, it would solve all the issues! Well you’re out of luck, I wouldn’t even know if there is a setting because the app is completely dysfunctional the moment you open it and crashes within 10 seconds, or 20 if you’re on low power mode. Please remove this or find a way to optimize it for devices. And if anyone’s curious, I have an iPhone 13, so it’s not a crappy device that’s the issue here.

This app is enjoyable when it actually works. I love looking at my weekly status report and competing with myself to get higher numbers. However, there has been a consistent issue where scrobbles will not be collected for days at a time. When the app starts logging again, it does not input the majority of what was played over the missing days. Every other week (at best) I lose a few days worth of data. I have tried many things and it still remains an issue. Unfortunately this has defeated the purpose of the app for me because of how inaccurate it makes the stats.
