Description
LAnow is a new on demand shared-ride service. Book a ride through the LAnow smartphone app or by phone, meet your shuttle at your scheduled LAnow pick-up/drop-off point, and ride to your destination. Get out of your car and relax or go where existing bus service can’t take you. Pick-up/drop-off points are never more than a few blocks (1/4 mile) away. You can also meet us at the LAnow Rideshare Hub at the Palms Expo Station.
How does LAnow work?
LAnow is an on-demand travel concept that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Using the LAnow app, input your address and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way. We’ll pick you up and drop you off within a quarter mile of your requested origin and destination, never more than a few blocks away. Get out of your car and relax or go where existing bus service can’t take you.
How long will I wait?
- You'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking. You can also track your vehicle in real time in the app.

I hope these shuttles stick around forever. So convenient and reliable.
Not the most reliable
If you’re not in a rush to get anywhere then this app is for you I do not recommend if you have somewhere to be I have requested a ride a dozen times from this app in the mornings and it says the bus would come in 5 mins and it actually takes up to 15 mins for the bus to arrive i don’t know i feel like these drivers know some of the customers and purposely wait for them to requested a ride to pick them up and then pick me up but these drivers need to do better!

If you want a smooth, quick, and easy ride, LAnow is MOST DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. You can order a LAnow and it will say it’s coming in 10, then I’ll proceed to lag and glitch TRIPLING the arrival time. And if you try to cancel that order and try again, it’ll show a bus coming in a longer time than the original. Many times on the bus I’ll be on before anyone else, then when it picks people up it’ll drop them off before my time. I’ve had my time wasted; waiting for busses and on the bus. This app is ridiculous. The only good thing about this is that the drivers can often be friendly. That’s it.
