It’s clear to me this app is simply the cheapest option for a school district to choose. But I’m sure it still costs stupid amounts of money and the functionality is absolutely miserable, hence the comment about being a rip off. You rarely get a notification of a message but when you do and then try to open from the notification you get trapped in a blank screen and have to quit the app. And forget trying to type a message. It is so frustratingly difficult it will make you want to throw your phone across the room. And the organization is sadly lacking. I have to search for forms or and I have yet to find where I’m supposed to be submitting absence notes. I will be sending a letter to the school and to the district about finding a better all next year. And I will see if I can get other parents to sign on.

After delving into this app, I must say it exhibits a level of simplicity that might be generously described as reminiscent of a child's creation. Comparatively, Skyward overshadows it in terms of sophistication and functionality.

The cover image, resembling a crayon book, attempts to infuse some semblance of creativity, but it cannot disguise the app's overall lackluster design. It's not just basic; it's alarmingly bare bones.

In terms of user experience, this app falls short, and the absence of advanced features makes it feel like a relic from the early days of app development. It's not merely basic; it's lagging behind the evolving standards of user interface and functionality.

While simplicity can be a virtue, in this case, it borders on a lack of ambition. If this app aspires to compete with more sophisticated alternatives, a substantial overhaul is warranted.
