Description

Labyrinth of Aetheria is a free retro-style 3D dungeon crawler. Inspired by classics like Wizardry and Might & Magic, it revives the essence of old-school DRPGs.

Featuring an auto-mapping function to enhance playability on smartphones, it offers adventures filled with the discovery of rare items and battles with dangerous monsters, capturing the charm of classic games. Experience this retro adventure for yourself.

The setting is the frontier town of Aetheria, rumored to be the resting place of the legendary Holy Grail. Many adventurers, driven by the promise of immense rewards, converge here to take on the dangers of the dungeons.

[Diverse Classes and Skills]
Adventurers can choose from a wide range of classes, from basic ones like fighters, thieves, priests, and mages, to advanced classes like paladins, samurais, ninjas, and sages. Each class comes with unique skills that influence party composition, strategy, and dungeon conquests. By changing classes, adventurers can combine different skills, creating unique characters.

[Town Facilities]
The town offers many facilities useful for adventures, such as item trading at shops, spell learning at the magic guild, and secret tool transactions at the thief guild. Quests can be undertaken at the adventurer's guild, and various clues for dungeon exploration can be found at the tavern. The grand mansion of Sylvan, the noble who sparked the adventurers' interest in the town, is also located here.

[Puzzles and Quests]
Numerous mysteries and mechanisms are found inside the dungeons. The use and location of key items are revealed through tavern rumors and dungeon discoveries, sometimes unlocking new paths after defeating powerful bosses.

[Collection Element]
Items found in the dungeons can be appraised, either by the adventurers' abilities or the town's appraiser, and registered in an item encyclopedia. This allows players to enjoy the collection aspect while progressing through the dungeon conquest.

[Story]
Sylvan, a major noble of the Astaros Kingdom, was one of its most influential figures. He was always in pursuit of gems and valuables. Among them, the most prized was the magical Holy Grail, rumored to be in the dungeon of the frontier town of Aetheria. Sylvan recruited adventurers to challenge the dungeon and obtain the Grail. Huge rewards were promised to those who could bring back the Holy Grail. Hearing these rumors, adventurers from all over gathered in Aetheria. However, none fully understood the danger of the dungeons. The reckless adventurers began exploring the dungeons in search of riches and fame.

I love this game!!! *****

It reminds me of the OG games I used to play. Considering that I’m 50 and played Pong when it was released, I have been playing video games for longer than you have been alive. I haven’t unlocked all the items yet, but my only complaint would be that there are not enough different items. It would be cool if there were some random weapons and armor with different stats and magical abilities. But overall, this game is a banger. Simple, easy to play, not too much grind, and hard enough to keep you interested.

Great Wizardry clone!

It is a simplified Wizardry. It’s slow and hard at first, but by the final floor, it’s trivial to have all characters know all spells and with Ninja’s extra protection. Puzzles are not hard, but there are many intersections between floor advancement and quest completions. I found this game very enjoyable!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed the game. The early stages may feel difficult, but it’s great to hear that you made good use of the Ninja's extra protection and enjoyed progressing through the challenges.
