Great game, needs work

So this game is really fun & it’s a fantastic idea. But before I go into the great things about the game, I want to list some of the cons/ feedback for the dev team.

This is really the first game I’ve had on my iphone where I’m experiencing a lot of jumpcuts/ lagging. I’ll be running & suddenly the screen freezes for 3-4 secs before snapping back into play, catching me off guard and having to quickly avoid a tree or something lol. Happens during combat too and it happens the most while building the homestead. Another con which is just a gameplay change are the slight turns. I’m not talking about the 90 degree turns, those are fine. But the slight turns are just awkward and when you think you’re lining up to get the coins, your character is just not where you were expecting and its a little annoying and takes me out of the game. A third con is the beginning of combat. My shield button is grey-ed out, like I can’t press it, resulting in me not having a choice but to take the hit. Again, this is only at the beginning of combat and it happens randomly. Lastly, I just think there’s a lot more you can do outside of the gameplay itself. The homestead thing is cool but everything else is kind of lackluster and blah. I find myself wanting more.

Now to the pro’s. The gameplay, when it works, is a ton of fun and it’s a really innovative and unique take on the endless run category. Not another game like this out there and I love that you have somehow managed to successfully integrate quests and such into a gameplay genre like this. I was also hoping the enviornments would change as I got further along and it was really cool that that was the case! Especially with each zone having its own name. The graphics are nice too and just has a cozy feeling playing the game. Overall, it can be very addicting if it gets cleaned up and I want to support you guys.

Incredible feedback! We are taking a lot of this into consideration. The next update will help address some performance issues and a few other overall quality enhancements. Interesting Take on the Endless Runner

I really like the stylized graphics in this game. I only have a few things that could maybe improve the game. Perhaps a small countdown could be added after you have a battle. Most of the times I die it’s right after a battle I end up hitting a tree. The ads are loading somewhat slow as well, but I did manage to get one loaded. The text and UI in the game is really good. I also like the idea of customizing my house but I haven’t made it that far yet. Thanks!
