1. What is KETOSCAN?
KETOSCAN is the first portable acetone gas analyzer in Korea,
Acetone, which is one of the ketone bodies produced when decomposing body fat, flows through the blood vessels and is discharged through the lungs through the respiration. It is a product that can measure the blood ketone concentration and the body fat decomposition rate by measuring the concentration of the breathing acetone gas.
2. Who needs a KETOSCAN?
- Low Carb High Fat Diet (LCHF / Ketogenic Diet) When you need to measure your ketone production!
- When you lose body fat through low-calorie diet, check for the scientific diet check that only the body fat is decomposed not the muscle!
- For the purpose of ketosis check!
3. Integration with the Health app
- KETOSCAN read data from health app such as
'Active Energy', 'Dietary Energy', 'Weight'
- It is used for your records.
- You can allow to read at Settings -> Privacy -> Health -> KETOSCAN

8/18/2023 update shows logo for a couple of seconds then crashes.

I’m really glad I purchased the ketoscan mini. I’m realizing I didn’t really have as much of a handle on understanding ketosis as I thought I did. Monitoring is key. And I love that I can do that without pricking myself.
I’d like to have a lot more information on how the keto levels in the app were arrived at. I’d also very much appreciate a dark mode for this app (get rid of the the bright white screens). Thanks!
Happy with this clever unit
Reliable-when I re-check, it always gives me the same reading. Its fast, tiny, easy to use, and extremely helpful in analyzing my food and how it effects my ketone level. The Keto diet is hard and seeing the numbers is an incentive and makes it all a fun science project.
