Very useful!
This app has everything that someone needs to get started with making kefir, and the timer tool is a lifesaver. I was making water kefir for months without it, and I could never remember how many days it had been and when it was ready to change. Since using this app, I never miss a batch or leave it too long and have to throw out my grains or get them back in balance. I hadn’t really looked into milk kefir - but the videos showed how easy it is.
Also - the generations tool is awesome. I’m an evangelist so I’m always giving grains to people and now I can track what happens to them over time! It’s fun!
An App You’ll USE!
Kefir soda is actually a HEALTHY drink! I’ve enjoyed making it at home for the past few months—my kids LOVE it! It’s my favorite daily drink, too (I’ve cut way back on cola), and it’s low calorie! The best part is this is not just a great-tasting soda (my nephew thought it was sparkling cider when he tasted it), it’s part of our HEALTH REGIMEN—the fermentation and probiotics are touted with improving digestion, boosting immunity, and helping to maintain a healthy weight!
The features of this app help you learn how to make fermented probiotic health drinks, keep track of your batches, and stay connected with your fermentation friends (the social/lineage part is fun!).
Only one batch at a time
This only lets you time one batch at a time. That doesn’t make it any more useful than the timer that comes on my phone. Was hoping to track multiple batches on different timelines…
