What’s New

Version 1.4

The new year has started, and with it comes a big polish update for Jiiiii!

Watch Status and History:
• Added a brand new "opened" state for when you open an episode, but don't mark it as watched, so it's easy to remember where you left off when you come back to the app.
• Added new ways to mark batches of episodes, including all of them, as watched when continuing a series you've seen before.
• Added progress indicators on posters based on watch status.
• Added a new dedicated section for managing watch history to every episode.
• Added a badge indicating how many times an episode was watched.
• Added the distributor to the last watched status.
• Added a watch status icon for when all episodes are marked as watched.
• Added an option to remove the last watch event by holding option on the context menu.
• Added watch status indicators to the release details screen.
• Updated the icon for the mark as rewatched button.
• Fixed an issue where watch events could have dates that are slightly off from one-another.
• Fixed an issue where watch states could get out of sync when the button was pressed.
• Fixed an issue where queue and history buttons were not reliably interactive on series screens.
• Fixed an issue where series with an announced but empty cours would not allow the mark as watched button to be enabled.
• Fixed an issue where completed series would not mark the next episode as watched.
• Fixed an issue where a completed series wouldn't offer to be added to the queue in a caught up state.
• Fixed an issue where the queue button would not show all options.
• Fixed an issue where adding to queue would suggest the first release of the cours rather than the first release of the series when all episodes are otherwise available.

Navigation:
• Added new ways to navigate through episodes on the release and episode detail screens.
• Added series app links when right-clicking on releases.
• Added series share links to releases and episodes.
• Added a way to copy app links by holding option in context menus.

• Updated the context menu open link submenu to read Open In.
• Moved the context menu copy link items into their own submenu.
• Updated release screen to feature the watch buttons on the bottom of narrow screens.
• Fixed an issue where opening a link would sometimes open it twice in quick succession.
• Fixed an issue where Open In context menu items weren't available immediately.
• Fixed an issue where alternative name screens could not be closed.
• Fixed an issue where watch status context menus were not being updated when first opened.
• Fixed an issue where opening episodes could rarely put the app in an unexpected state.
• Fixed an issue where some releases had a blank button instead of a distributor.

Episode and Series Information:
• Added tooltips for synopses on episode listings.
• Added a queue indicator to the episode list.
• Updated the language for how some distributors are presented when opening episodes.
• Updated context menus to show the full series and episode names.
• Fixed an issue where the synopsis sometimes appeared empty.
• Fixed an issue where really long series names could push almost all the content of the release screen off screen.

Other Fixes:
• Improved performance scrolling a large queue a tiny bit.
• Fixed an issue where it was possible to over scroll the release screen by a small amount.
